Child Custody Maintenance

This petition is filed seeking custody of the minor child and appropriate maintenance in the best interest, welfare, and overall well-being of the child. The petitioner submits that the respondent has failed to adequately care for, support, and provide a safe and nurturing environment for the child. The petitioner has been the primary caregiver, ensuring stability, education, health, and emotional development, which are essential for the child’s growth. The respondent has neglected financial responsibilities and has not contributed to essential expenses required for the child’s upbringing. The petitioner asserts that custody with the petitioner serves the paramount welfare principle recognized under law. Adequate monthly maintenance is also necessary to meet the child’s needs, including food, schooling, medical care, and daily expenses. The respondent possesses sufficient income and resources to provide such support. Therefore, the petitioner respectfully prays that this Hon’ble Court grant legal custody of the minor child to the petitioner, direct the respondent to pay suitable maintenance, and pass any other orders needed to secure the child’s welfare.
